I have 12k followers and can't sell a $400 sponsorship package

I'm a financial coach in Dubai, 6 years running sponsor content and ads. I already quit the hourly 1:1s three years ago, so I know how to sell an outcome not my time. So why can't I sell a sponsored package to my own audience?

I built a 'Budget Reset' 4-week group programme. Got 11 buyers. Hard part was running it live twice a week myself, so I stopped running it.

Tried ads to cold traffic, got clicks but no WhatsApp conversations. Tried an email sequence with a discount, only my existing clients bought.

Now I'm staring at a new sponsorship package and I'm embarrassed to launch it because I already know what happens. My constraint is my own hours. I can't deliver more live sessions and I can't afford a team yet.

How do you productise when the audience is there but they won't buy the thing that takes your time?

CONTEXT AT PUBLICATION

What a useful answer should help achieve

A clear decision on whether to keep pushing the group format or switch to something that doesn't need me live, plus one concrete thing to test before I launch.

Already tried

Built a 4-week live group programme, ran ads to cold traffic with a discounted email sequence.

Constraints and unknowns

My own delivery hours. I can't add more live sessions and I can't hire yet.

You did the hard part already — quitting hourly and selling an outcome is the thing most coaches never manage. The live format is the problem, not the offer. What happens if you film the same four weeks once and sell access?

Why the asker chose this: This is the one I am acting on — thank you.

Your audience isn't your customer. Twelve thousand followers who watch you talk about budgeting are not twelve thousand people who will pay you to help them budget — those are two different groups. Stop trying to convert the audience. Go find the twenty people who already asked you a question and sell them something small first.

Can I ask what you actually sold the 11 buyers? Was it 'a budget in four weeks' or 'four live calls with me'? Because if it's the second one, you sold your hours and you already said you can't sell those.

Following this one. I'm in a similar spot with clients who want me on everything personally and I haven't cracked the handoff yet. Keen to see what others say.

The ad part is what jumped out at me. Cold traffic to a discount email is a hard sell for a coach nobody knows yet. You already have people who trust you. I'd test one live cohort with a waitlist and see if the scarcity alone moves the people who've been watching for a year.

Film the four sessions once. Run it as a cohort with one live Q&A a week instead of two. Half the delivery hours, same promise.
