I run a self-paced wellness course. Delivery already eats most of my week. My students keep asking me where to buy the supplements and food plans I mention in the lessons. Last month I tested selling a few things through DMs: three orders, more time coordinating dispatch than the margin was worth. I want to launch a second offer, but I keep going back and forth between putting a small shop inside the course community or keeping commerce separate. Port Harcourt delivery is the part I cannot do alone, so I need to know if community commerce is a real option or a distraction.
Supplements inside the course or keep them separate?

Put the shop in the course. The platform will handle fulfilment once you integrate.

Have you considered not delivering yourself at all? In a growing team, you hand delivery to a partner who already moves products. Your course students can still buy, but the supplier owns dispatch and customer service. We did something similar for training resources: once a partner owned distribution, conversion became less about content and more about the handoff. It may not answer the community commerce question directly, but it solves the actual problem.

Bruno, that is not how any of the course platforms work for physical goods in Port Harcourt or anywhere else. I learned this the hard way with templates: the tool took payment and then I still had to deliver manually. If you add a shop, you are adding reconciliation, dispatch windows and returns. Unless you build one delivery process first, it will swallow your second offer whole. No membership can skip that step.
