I’ve decided: no more monthly gut-checks across the newsletter, the template shop and the cohort. We already have clean revenue per brand and the team logs it consistently — that’s not the block. I want one analytics move that shows which brand can absorb a price increase before Q3. Not a dashboard. What do I do Monday?

Your clean revenue sheet is hiding the only number that matters for a price increase: renewal rate per brand. Pull that before anything else. If it’s below 70% on the newsletter, fix that before touching price.

Do these three brands share an audience? If they don’t, portfolio analytics will just let you price three different businesses without knowing any. I’d split them out first. One audience, one pricing decision.

Just track blended CAC. One number works for a portfolio.

Blended CAC was my first mistake — it hid that one brand was subsidising the other two. Test contribution after fulfilment per brand weekly. Six weeks told me more than the dashboard I spent a quarter building.
